SoulChef is Back!!

Hey everybody!
I missed last week because of the holiday, but I was determined to not make it a two week absence.
This week, I've got a great turkey burger meal, for those of y'all out there who don't do red meat! I've also got a sub sandwich that works great for parties!

Turkey Bacon Turkey Cheeseburger with Spicy Mayo and Sweet Potato Chips
(This same burger can be made with hamburger, too..)
1/4 Pound of Lean Ground Turkey
Shredded Cheddar Cheese, about a half cup
A half cup of Real Turkey Bacon Pieces
A cup of Mayo (Miracle Whip works too)
2 tbs of Hot Sauce (Tabasco or Red Hot)
1 tbs of Red Pepper Flake

For the spicy mayo:
Mix mayo with hot sauce and the one tablespoon of red pepper flake.

For the burger:
Mix ground turkey with the cheese and turkey bacon pieces
Season with a sprinkle of seasoning salt
Grill until cooked through.

Spread the mayo on the top of the bun, and dress with lettuce, tomato and pickle.

Sweet Potato Chips:
Thinly slice a whole sweet potato into round chips. The slices should be a bit thicker than the average fingernail.
Preheat your oven to 425.
Spread the chips on a slightly greased baking pan and season with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes

Italian Club
1 roll of french bread (the crustier the better)
1/4 Pound of ham (brown sugar ham works best)
1/4 Pound of deli style pepperoni
1/4 Pound of thinly sliced salami
1/4 Pound of capacola (a kind of ham)
8 slices of bacon
1 whole tomato, sliced
Italian Dressing (Kraft goes hard)
1/4 Pound of Provolone Cheese

Cut the roll of french bread in half
Spread Italian dressing lightly on both sides.
On one side layer the meat in this order: ham, capacola, pepperoni and salami
Then the bacon and then the tomatoes.
Then layer the cheese.
Bake in the oven, open faced, for 10 minutes or until the cheese is brown. (You can put it on broil.)
For parties, cut in angled quarters. Enjoy with some chips!

Alright y'all! Check me out and let me know what you think!
